Ultra Liquid Labor Markets
Some in our society believe we live in a free market. The truth is far from it.
Take the labor market.
People are hired by a single company for a very specific role. If you are lucky to get hired. Unfortunately, once this happens, you are locked in. You can’t work for anyone else, you can’t move up until it’s your time, you can only work on specific tasks.
DAOs will allow the creation of Ultra-Liquid Labor Markets. These markets will look something like this: 1) you decide which DAO to work for, 2) you decide what kind of work you want to do, 3) you decide your rate, 4) you can change the kind of work you do, 5) you can work from anywhere. A true Open Value Network.
Talent will move as fluidly as information does on the internet. As fluidly as capital flows within DeFi.
“Salary” will become less relevant, and more importance will be put on things like non-monetary benefits, culture, values, overlapping interests, human connection.
The benefits to humanity will be great.
